Apple Valley Resort is nestled in the hills of Knox County, a few miles from Mount Vernon, Ohio. The resort is located within the   Apple Valley community, a large community around 511-acre Apple Valley Lake. Amenities within the community include Playgrounds, Marina, beaches, Activity Center, indoor pool and more. Passes are available to members for use of these amenities while at the resort.      Only a short walk from your condo is a beautifully manicured 18 hole PGA golf course.  From early spring through their closing at the beginning of winter, the Apple   Valley Golf Course is a wonderful neighbor in our community with a hearty Snack Bar Restaurant at the Pro Shop.

Your unit has everything for gracious living. A fireplace, deck with a gas grill, big-screen TV & cable, VCR and stereo. Each unit has a hot tub room with a full size spa that the entire family will use.

The large kitchens are fully equipped and include the dining area. All units are on one floor, so there are no stairs or steps. The master bedroom has a master bath with double vanity and double closets. Another full bath is next to the second bedroom and all beds are Queen Size. The unit sleeps six, has a standard washer and dryer, and even a game table in the living room with a wet sink at the bar.             

Your vacation home is a beautiful, private and secure resort in North-Central Ohio, only an hour from Columbus, one & one half hours from Cleveland, and at the edge of renowned Amish country, which attracts year-round visitors from all over the world.

While visiting the Amish Country, dine on the wonderful   local dishes as well as those from the ‘Old Country’, plus, the local cheese houses are a real hit with everyone. The local area is host to several well-known attractions worthy of a visit, such as bike & walking trails, horseback riding, canoeing, Go carts, Waterslides, 10 golf courses, two ski areas,   museums and    underground cavern adventures.

The Columbus Zoo is a fabulous experience, plus the world famous Longaberger Basket Factory is only 45 minutes away. 

On the resort, a playground, outdoor pool, basketball court, volleyball, Shuffleboard, activity center with planned activities, crafts and much more for your entire family are available to resident members at no charge.
